How to Open Telegram Permissions Settings

To enter the permissions settings section of being added to Telegram groups by unknown people or your contacts, just follow the steps below.

Open Telegram and click on the three-line icon () in the upper left corner of the screen.

How to Set the Permissions of Add to Telegram Groups by Unknown People

The page you see at this point consists of two sections. In the following, we will discuss in detail how to give permission to unknown people or your contacts to invite you to Telegram groups and channels.

Part One Who can add me to group chats?
In this section, you determine who is allowed to invite you to different groups and channels. This section has two options which will be discussed in the following.

1. Everybody: Selecting this option means that all Telegram users (both your contacts and anonymous people) are allowed to add you to different groups.
2. My Contacts: By selecting this option, you will only allow your contacts (people whose mobile number you have saved on your phone) to add you to Telegram groups.

Part two Add exceptions.
In this section, you can make an exception for the permissions issued by unknown people or your contacts to add you to Telegram groups. This section has two options which will be discussed in the following.

Always allow: In this section you specify which audience is always allowed to invite you to Telegram groups. Suppose you only allow your telegram audience to do this, now if you want to allow some anonymous users (people who are not among your contacts) to add you to Telegram groups, just follow the steps below.

Type the Telegram ID of the person you want in the search section at the top of the page.
